PRESS: Russian govt removes retirement age rise from ’16 crisis plan
MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- The Russian Economic Development Ministry has presented an amended version of the anti-crisis plan for 2016 to the government, removing a goal prepare an increase of the retirement age but leaving an offer to reduce pensions of the retirees who still work, business daily Vedomosti reported Friday, citing the draft document.
An official of the ministry told Vedomosti that discussion of the amended plan continues.
The list of socially-oriented measures in the plan includes employment, small business, regions and highly technological exports support.
